How do you track & celebrate your Milestones?

Feels like something that could be engaging for the community

The most important thing is regular interaction with followers. This will only happen when your content is rich , informative and to a healthy extent targeted. Try to stay away from posting popular or trending content. People like content that matches their interests over content talking about the latest fads and trends.
The comments must reflect their opinion of your content.
Sometimes it will be positive and constructive, sometimes not so, you must not only get used to this, rather you must actively seek it – you need to start loving the taste of criticism.
Also, what you post must reveal a small part of you to your followers , the extent of the reveal is a small matter, rather what really matters, is that what IS revealed is genuine. Only then will their comments inturn give you something genuine to learn from, which is a learning that passionate content creators crave.
Once you become a content creator who shares content in this way- you will not be bothered whether you have 10 followers or 10 million followers- every single post can be a celebration.
