  • How do you manage Instagram business: mobile app or browser on a laptop?

Posted by seohelper on January 29, 2021 at 6:21 pm

My wife teaches Chinese and sells Chinese courses, coaching and stuff and she uses Instagram on her laptop through a browser. Gradually, she gathered quite a few students and clients and it was annoying for her to scroll through all of the chats in Direct, permanent anxiety to lose someone or forget to reply. So I made a kind of CRM, but simpler and intended only for Instagram. This contains a simple dashboard where she can create product positions, custom statuses (=stages), and prepared instant messages and browser extension that adds some buttons near each chat where she can set the status and products of a deal.

I’m curious if it’s widespread problem or regular instagram-business owners use the mobile app only?

Have you tried via Facebook instead? You can connect FB and IG and have messages all in one place. You can even tag them and assign conversations.

If she has a Facebook business page that’s shared with Instagram, she can download the Facebook business suite app which is really nice for messaging, posting (can post to Facebook, Instagram, or both at the same time), running ads, and scheduling both Facebook and Instagram posts.
