  • How do I switch my language without hurting my growth/community

    Hey! ??

Over the last 3 months I‘ve build a small following on Twitch and Twitter. (still under 200)

But I‘ve noticed that there is no consistent german Valorant content creator on YouTube. But my Twitch and Twitter are on English only.

Soooo what should I do and how can I switch without losing everyone or atleast to a minimum extend.

    Thanks for every suggestion/tip.

Produce both English and German content, gradually do more bi-lingual and then German content until most of your subs are German?

I think just make an announcement that you will do so and why, pin it for a while and that should be enough

    Hmm…

Am I the only one who thinks that it may be a feasible idea to start a new channel, while also preserving the existing profiles?

It might be anecdotal, but these platforms are powered by algorithms and it may be helpful to create a new set of data for this new audience, rather than ‘retraining’ the existing one. It *may* also be safer, in case if you change your mind or have an alternative channel to stream.

You can do English subtitles or if you’re posting on Instagram for example you can do one slide English and the next German.
