This is how I grew my account to 17k followers in 6 months and now I’m getting between 150 to 180 followers every day.

I will not go over the obvious things like you bio and pics and you need to engage with your Audience.

1- post every single day, alt least 3 posts and 5 stories.
2- steal content from other similar accounts – Steve Jobs once said “We have always been shameless about stealing great ideas”. Look at other similar accounts and brows their posts and find the posts that have the most likes and repost them with credit or creat a similar posts.

3- use all the allowed hashtags : 30 hashtags max for the posts and 10 hashtags max for the stories.

4- show location on your posts: don’t ask me why cause I don’t know but when I started doing that I noticed an increase in likes and followers.

5- I know it is a biz account. Change your account to a personal account for the time being. It has been noticed that Instagram algorithms expose your posts to less followers if it is a biz account. Because they want you to pay for ads.just change it to a personal account until you get enough followers then you can change it back to biz account.

Both accounts look the same, the only thing you will lose when you change to personal account is the “insight part” .. and honestly if your followers number is small now you don’t event need those insights now. (You can use a third party app if you needed)

6- normally when I start a new account, I follow people. When you follow someone, they will get a notification that someone has followed them. They will be curious. Then they will see your account. If your content is good for them they will follow you back. Go to a similar account like yours the check who is following that account and the start following those people. Don’t abuse this strategy cause Instagram doesn’t like it. They might suspend your account for 24 hours if tie over use it. (By suspend I mean your account will be active but you can not comment or like any thing – and some times you will not be able to post for 24 hours)

7- I can not emphasize on how important is this AGAIN : POST EVERY SINGLE DAY AT LEAST 3 POSTS AND 5 STORIES.

8- This is now necessary but I like it : try to create a theme for your account. Like all of your photos are dark or has special effect.

9- if you are struggling to find content for your posts, try posting quotes related to your niche. You said it is “shoes brand” , then try to post quota about beauty and prestige . There are tons of quota about designs and fashion.

10- here is another sneaky strategy, before posting something, go around to other similar accounts and find an account who has a fresh post (like was posted an hour ago) .. look at the comment section and try to comment on the comments. If the comment is fresh (in the last 10 mins, this means most likely than not, that person is still online) .. if you reply to his or her comment, he or she will get the notification that someone replied to their comment and they will check your account. Once you comment on their comment you can post your new post. This strategy works as like your are trying to get their attention. (Like hey I just posted a new post )

Can somebody help me please?

The last 4 years I’ve been traveling the world between USA, Europe, se Asia, central and South America. Between it all I have over 18k high quality content between pics, videos and drone photos of some of the highest value places on the planet.

That said I created an Instagram account June 30th to now start pushing this content out on a broader scale as opposed to just my personal IG.

I spent the first month adding pics, hashtags etc until I hit post 60. When I hit post 60 I started taking out sponsored ads through Instagram. I still continue to post pics twice a day, add two stories twice a day and be fairly on the platform. This started August 1 and on August 1 I had 189 followers total followers. At first I only starting promoting two of the best pics I think I have. Due to the amount of traffic and likes they received I decided to put 10 photos bout for bid to see for 2-3 days to then see which of those 10 gave me the best cpc rate. Now I’m doubling down on these photos after some AB testing.

That said since August 1 I’ve increased by followers by 2800. Two days ago I added 324 new followers. Today is added 840. In total the last 2 days I’ve added 1132 new. My goal right now is to hit 10k as fast as possible and Doing whatever it takes to make it happen. At this rate and with the spending I’m investing I should be able to hit 10k hopefully by end of next week. I’ve been trying to find on the net any reference to what I’m doing along with the numbers but there’s just nothing available. I’m seeing it takes people usually 5-12 months to achieve 10k. I aiming to accomplish 10k in less than 3 weeks.

My Total reach so far the last 6 days has been close to 3 million people. I paired a time lapse last night and it already has close to 40k views. A hiking photo of mine I’ve been profound has about 40k+ likes in less than 5 days. My conversion rate right now between everything weighted is about 10% total. If I have 500 clicks I’m tracking about 50 followers. A couple photos have a couple conversion rate of 18%. 415 clicks. 71 follows. Of these 10 photos 5 have cpc’s of 4-18cents. Two photos have a cpc of 4 and 7 cents respectively. As of right now I only have 2871 followers yet I’m receiving close to 30-40 inbox messages a day asking me to partner or promote their shit on my page give them a shoutout etc. Gtfooh with that but nonetheless.

I guess my question is this…are these numbers good because I honestly have no idea what I’m looking at? Do I continue to feed the machine and maybe even spend more or do it call it a day after 10k. Right now I’m tracking about a 3:1. For every dollar spend I get three organic followers. As more traffic comes through I would expect this is increase to say 5:1. No? Once I hit 10k I’m going to pause everything. Step back. assess. Analyze. And then make the next move solely dependent of what the numbers say.
