How can my business get a side panel on Google’s SERP?

If you google some businesses (i.e General Electric, McCann, etc.) You get served a side panel on google’s SERP with a Wikipedia description, information about the company size, CEO etc. I was wondering if this is something that you can apply for or set up. Thank you for the help 🙂

Register your company in Google My Business

Google My Business can do that for you but it’s only localized. Those huge brands has a Google Knowledge Panel. I have one myself as I’m an entrepreneur.
