I’ve grown a 50k page about web development (HTML/CSS/JS tips) with strong reach and engagement, but I’m in a low-income market audience (North Africa, Asia), so conversion rates and spending power are much lower.

What are realistic ways to monetize this kind of audience?

If people can’t afford peanuts where you live how are you going to buy them for yourself?

And if no one pays you for ads or product placement you are pretty much cooked.

yeah that’s a tough one but totally doable. 50k in a low-income region still means reach — just not in direct sales. you gotta shift from selling to your audience to selling through it.

    some paths that work:

    * create digital products (templates, tools, or mini-courses) priced low enough for local markets but stackable in volume
    * offer sponsorships from global SaaS brands targeting devs, they’ll pay for exposure even if your audience can’t afford them
    * funnel your traffic to YouTube or newsletters where CPMs/ad rates are better

and if you’re doing video content, tighten the pacing, that’s what keeps your reach high enough to attract sponsors. you can use video analysis tools (e.g. creafico, etc.) to get recommendations on what to improve so each clip performs stronger.

    Hope this helps !! 🙂

Why do you need to sell to the local market. Is your page in local language? There are Merchands of record that could help you sell digital products worldwide.

Can you take your best content and make an extended version of it around a pain point and offer it thru paddle or stripe, lemonsqueezy or gumroad?
