How can I see stats for country search for my term?

Google Trends doesn’t make much sense to me. For example it’s saying countries that are war torn (Syria) are extremely high compared to US and other countries where it is a popular search term -

Use google keyword planner tool, it’s free and shows monthly forecasts and historical metrics. You can change the location and language where it shows “Locations:” and “Language” at the top of the page.
