  • How can a FB group have 100+k members and 0 post likes/engagement?

    I am not sure this is the right place to ask… but this is my question.

    I just don’t understand it. Did someone pay for those members? But what’s the point of having all these member if there is no engagement?
    Is it even worth being a part of groups like this? (if your goal is PR for your product…)

    That is a possibility you can buy 10k for like 5$ so there are a lot of accounts that think it will give their page a boost

    I don’t know why people would do that anymore, especially after the algorithms changed. Used to help manage a page that got up to 5 million (mostly purchased) followers/likes because the people in charge of the company thought it would help get them business (or something) despite skimping on the budget for content creation.
