    How broad is too broad when creating cold interest audiences?

    I’m working on a single product store that’s focusing on apparel for females. I have my general demographics in line, but I’m having a tough time narrowing down my interests. I’ve created personas and broken into 3 separate groups but I don’t know if I should go into super broad targeting.

    For example, my groups consist of following: 1) brand names (other apparel brands in the same niche), 2) social media (general, females interested in IG/tiktok/etc), 3) working out (since it’s athleisure, this was a good decision at the time).

    I feel that if I go too broad (e.g. women’s clothing, women’s fashion, etc.) this will just garner to a waste.
