How are people finding Bing display ads lately?

Posted by seohelper on July 1, 2020 at 7:17 am

I’ve always treated Bing as the worse-off younger sibling to Google, but lately have actually found the search ad results to be much more efficient. Obviously, there is not much room to scale search, but considering the efficiencies I’ve been seeing in the brand and non-brand serps, I’ve been thinking about testing the display network too.

I’ve stayed almost entirely within GDN for display ads. Can anyone attest to the Bing display network’s quality or performance?

    TIA

Google’s GDN is pretty much garbage. Can’t imagine Bing being much better, as much as I love an underdog

The Bing display network is much, much more limited. With Google, a display placement could also be a search partner… There’s just so much more volume with all the partners/publishers and available inventory. Bing is so limited, you might could try just opting in an existing search campaign, and see if you actually get any additional volume.

Bing has traditionally had better engagement and conversion rates, but the potential volume of profitable inventory is so limited, you just can’t scale like you can with Google networks/partners.
