I am wondering if anyone has experienced both and what are the pros and cons. I have used a bit of both before but that was over 5 years ago.

My goal is to maximize followed and increase the fan following of my upcoming game. I don’t really care about reach I already have specific niche and target market I’m targeting although having good hashtag suggestions would be helpful!

Would love your discussion and suggestions on this!

God I hate buffer with a passion, I hate the UI of it, feels so clunky and really not intuitive to me. Not sure if they expanded but only works with LinkedIn and Twitter right?

Hootsuite is nice, tbh I still find it a little… Clunky, but much much nicer in how everything is displays, the dashboards, the feeds, scheduling, the analytics, integration – everything about it for me feels nicer. It hits all the social networks I need, FB, LinkedIn and Twitter…

Saying this, I am still getting into these, due to lockdown this is the first time I’ve used things like this for management. Hootsuite does do its own CRM though which is a good package (again where I work doesn’t have a marketing CRM so we’ve been looking into introducing that as well). I’ve never found something that feels fluid and nice, everyone has its cons, it’s clunkiness

But take what I say with pinch of salt, in all fairness I don’t really know what I’m talking about atm, still a noob but Ive found Hootsuite so much easier to get grips of and use easily and efficiently from the start

Hootswite is good. Best to try out other platforms. Wish hootswite support more platforms like mastodon, pixelfed, minds and ello. I have asked then they said they have passed it to the ideas team.

If you need a 3rd alternative, I’m the co-founder of a social media scheduling tool called OneUp.

We’d be honored to have you take a look 🙂

Probably if you have time, check out 3-4 tools before settling for one final tool. This will save your lot of time in future. See what fits your requirements. Sprout Social and later .com have good hashtag suggestions.

Now coming to what I feel about social media tools. I feel there are so many social media tools out there now(I have personally checked 40+), each has their pros and cons. Even different pricing plans too. The more tools , the more my attention gets spread to thin across all those tools.

And when we settle for one tool. We compromise their as well. As we have to adjust according to the tools working flow and functions. But it should be not like that.

I feel there should be tool that just takes our requirements and gives us customized flow and functionalities. A tool which we can personalize according to our use-case. Where pricing is also as per usage.

Sorry for the long post. But I had to went out my issue with all these tools.
