Help with updating and deleting content

Additionally an iternal linking plugin has created internal links that are consired spam. As a result, they started to lose their current good rankings. How do you suggest to fix the errors?

Is the content cannibalizing itself?
How do you know its been considered “spam” ?

If a third party metric said it’s spam, third-party metrics haven’t got the slightest idea what spam is. Further Google ignores spammy links.
