HELP: Block Facebook pixel from firing on a single webpage within site
Posted by on February 12, 2021 at 3:17 pmI am hosting a terms and conditions + privacy policy page for my mobile app on my website. I have a Facebook Pixel installed that tracks page views across the whole site (applied using the Pixel Caffeine WordPress plugin). Is there any way to prevent the pixel from firing on the specific pages with my terms and privacy policy?
(WHY: I live in the EU so have an opt-in on the rest of the site to meet GDPR standards however I don’t want app users to have to opt-in when they go to these pages so just want to de-activate my pixel on them)

Sounds like a coding problem. You could create a new template specifically for those pages that doesn’t call your plugins. Or you may be able to find a solution on stack overflow.
