The images our team designs are high quality and when the WordPress plugin compresses it,the quality just drops and the image is no longer clear. We tried compressing using tinypng and others like it but it’s still bad.

If we just post them with their original quality will it affect the SEO of our website?

Well, it will affect your site loading speed. I suggest 3 options.

    1. Lazy loading the image. Quite lot of plugins to do this.
    2. Use thumbnail with link where visitors can click and see the original version.
    3. Use webp format. But i haven’t tried this format for high resolution file with 2k or 4k resolution. Although right now, only the current browsers version support it.

I will tell you right technique for this what you have to do is just go to the WordPress dashboard.

Go to media – the upload image – then in the edit option copy the link image

    and

Upload it through link in your blog.

That’s it will upload in high quality.
