Have yall compared LLMs for SEO work/assistance?
Posted by on March 9, 2026 at 2:49 amI've been a longtime ChatGPT user and recently am testing Claude. I use them mostly for keyword analysis, and suggestions for SEO structure, page titles, content, etc.
I was hoping Claude was going to be as good or better as I've sort of been wanting to justify the switch, but I'll admit, ChatGPT just seems to be better… It's a bit more creative with its wording.. it gives better logic and reasoning for why it's using or not using certain words and where, etc (that I tend to agree more with than Claude's).
Wondering what other digital marketers/seo people think about the current LLMs for this kind of work?

Are you manually adjusting SEO? Which stack or website are you using? Static? WordPress?

I’ve noticed the same. ChatGPT tends to give better SEO structure and creative suggestions, while Claude is decent for longer text editing.

You can direct Claude to be more creative. Create a skill or many skills to reach the tone and language you are happy with. Out of the box Claude is vanilla – you can customise depending on task at hand.
