Have 10k Followers on Twitter. Want to change my niche. What are the Best Practices?

Now I would like to change my niche. something in the links of Travel, Money, and Motivation. I would tweet about this shift and change my Twitter Name. Question is
1) Is this legal
2) What are some good practices -

Of course you can change it. People flip accounts all the time! At least they do in fandoms. I was on Twitter for over 10 years. It’s fine.
Also you could watch videos on YouTube. They have a bunch of videos on engaging to get even more followers! I never used it since I quit, but it could be helpful.
