Has anyone found Facebook’s cAPI to help? How about targeting only Android?
Posted by on June 3, 2021 at 8:31 pmI switched off all FB ads today after a big tank in performance. There weren’t enough conversions no matter what I tried and ridiculous CPA’s. Almost 50% of our typical users are on iphone, ipad etc. Waiting for web devs to finish installing CAPI before I give it another go.
Has FB’s CAPI improved anyone’s ad performance after the iOS update? Also has anyone tried just targeting only Android etc?
Just kind of sucks, as I just started my position and really wanted to prove myself. Others in the business aren’t knowledgable about ads and so I have a fear they’ll think it’s my fault.

CAPI wont help with users who have opted out. It will help against client side JS issues, browser issues, and ad blockers. I’ve always found it useful in providing a clearer picture of conversions.
