Growing Podcast Through Organic Social Media
Posted by on December 1, 2020 at 4:49 pmHey All, looking for some advice to grow a podcast project that I have been working on for the past 8 months. It’s silly, funny and curious. We aim to be approachable and help listeners feel like they are in the conversation with us. We want to attract the passive listener who works, drives, does stuff around the house while listening to us.
Our problem is as follows, I have a job on top of this and I want to be efficient as far as growth. I know it will take time but I have been posting 30+ times a week across multiple mediums utilizing hash tag strategies and such (our main channels we hope to grow are insta and twitter).
Looking for an audit, advice, direction, or anything! getting frustrated.

Only advice is … Spend money for ads! If you continue to posting even 40 times a week, there will be nothing again in next 10 years. If you don’t have big number of followers who are also your friend and can share your storys and fleets or like and share your posts.

Invite influencers with large followings in your niche to be guests on your podcast for an interview. Politely ask that they share a swipe up link to the episode when it goes live & promote it on their socials.
