Google won’t stop harassing me to raise my marketing spend on Google Ads

I had an email from them the other day claiming urgency and a “big dip in performance”
“Just wanted to flag that I’ve spotted a pretty big dip in how your campaigns are doing on account lD, which means less folks heading to your website. These things happen! I was hoping we could chat for about 20 mins so can dig into what’s causing it and get things humming again ASAP”.
Ah accountID is suffering?! OH NO.

Is there no authority at Google that we can complain to? Especially since the reps are simply of poor quality.

Block the number. Done. Emails? Same thing.

I manage 20+ Google Ads Accounts on our MCC and we reduced this significantly (almost no calls now) by blocking all numbers. They have a limited amount of numbers I think.

I get literally hundreds of calls, it is well out of line what they are doing. They harass me constantly. (Agency). We dont answer any of them. The vast majority are third party call handling too. So frustrating, same rinse and repeat script.

Lately, I’ve been telling them to send thier recommendations via email. Seems to minimize the emails and keep them from getting more aggresive. And it’s a huge timesaver for me. Skimming a few lines takes seconds compared to a call.

Are you sure it’s google? I get these calls and they’re usually some service claiming to get us setup on business listings and google maps. But they aren’t google.

They’ve been on a roll lately. They somehow even found my personal phone number and called me the other day.
I think people are reducing their budgets and it’s making them scramble. Google ads have been under-performing more and more as people adopt AI. I lowered my budget because I just wasn’t getting the same conversions as before no matter how well I optimized my campaign. Other avenues are becoming more worth my time.
