Google Shopping with American/british English words.

    Hi guys,

So I’m selling a personalized pillow (or as it’s known in the UK a ‘cushion’).

My problem is, I don’t have the time or money to maintain both a UK and USA site (I use Shopify), I’d rather it was all in one, so to compensate for differences between British and American English I’ve set the title to be ‘Personalized … Pillow Cushion’, however as you can see from my [Google shopping results](https://i.gyazo.com/f3145ab872f081ec91856c2b86c757ce.png) that I’ve ran for a while, I’ve had absolutely no impressions from the UK.

I am 100% sure this isn’t because people from the UK aren’t interested, but rather Google thinks its a Pillow not a Cushion, and I don’t think it accomodates for words like this (I assume different spelling such as Color and Colour in a title is fine).

Even though I’ve put the title to include both word differences, how do I increase my impressions for the UK? Has anyone had this problem before? Is the only solution to maybe have two different products?

FYI Pillow and Cushion are both mentioned in the description also.

You can try to do two different campaigns, one for US and another one for UK.
If you think UK people are not very interested about pillow you have to raise awareness on social media.
How much is your Cost par sell?

If you have literally 0 impressions from the UK, I have to ask: Does your feed include shipping to the UK? Might be that you’re only targeting the US right now. Also, is the UK included in the campaign’s location targeting?

Hm, I would try to create two individual Merchant Center accounts, link the same feed to both, but have a supplemental feed added or create a rule on one of the accounts and swap pillow with cushion. Then link the MC accounts to your Google Ads account and create two campaigns. One with products from the cushion feed and one with products from the pillow feed. Then maybe set a target location if you know cushion doesnt convert as well in the US or whatever. I hopes this makes sense. Let me know if it works.

You can only target one country for each shopping campaign. That is why each shopping campaign has a country of sale setting. This setting needs to match your location targeting. You need to run two shopping campaigns if you want to target UK and USA.
