  • Google Search isn’t using my main URL

Hi my site is a map with locations which can be zoomed in on using ?locate=LOCATION-NAME.

Google has decided to make my URL when searching for my site one of these locate URLs instead of the full map.

Is there a way I can fix this?

To fix this ensure your main URL has a clear title and meta description with strong internal linking and structured data. Use canonical tags to signal the preferred URL and submit a sitemap to Google Search Console.
