  Google Programmable Search + no-indexing pages

  Hi all,

  Currently have a client with a pretty severe index bloat problem…but they’re using Google’s programmable search embed on their site. If I start no-indexing pages to correct the bloat issue, I’m assuming their site’s programmable search also will eventually not return some of the pages?

  Has anyone encountered this before? If that’s the case, which I think it may be, I will have to get the dev team to create their own search function to replace Google’s programmable search from their website.
