Google ads went over daily budget
Posted by on October 10, 2025 at 9:21 pmI made a Google ads shopping campaign it's just a normal shopping campaign not a performance max. For my Shopify store it's on manual cpc with a daily budget of $15 and the bid is $1.
I did it yesterday and today I looked at the data and it went over the $15 daily budget.
The cost is $30.86 and I have 37 clicks, impressions 977, ctr 3.79% and avg cpc 0.81.
My question is it normal for it to go past the $15 daily budget and be charged $30.86? Also are clicks, impressions etc is it good.

Yes. Google can go above daily budget. Google respect your monthly budget but daily it can spend more if it saw any opportunity to get best results.

yea on any given day it may spend over your budget, but over the course of 30 days it should average out.
