Google Ads Small Budget Expensive Niche

Posted by seohelper on January 15, 2021 at 1:56 am

I am working on a little side project that is primarily an SEO play in a very competitive niche. To give my inbound leads a boost and learn the market a bit before I can rank organically, I decided to create a Google Ads account. I am relatively inexperienced with Ads.

My budget: $200/mo (approx $6.70 a day) (add 3 zero’s to that and that is what others in the niche are paying lol),

“top of page bid range” for my keywords is showing between $10 and $34

The account was created 3 days ago and it is showing 0 clicks and impressions with status “Eligible (Learning)”

    My questions:

    1. Will my ads even run with such a relatively small budget and high CPC?
    2. Any specific advice on tiny budget in a monsterly competitive niche?

    1. Not likely, maybe you’ll get a few impressions on second page of serp

    2. Try to find keywords with less competition/less buy intent/top of the funnel/educational

Won’t be easy I know. And maybe even what you’re looking for.

Maybe you can target different locations if you’re in it to learn. (I presume you were checking the prices in the US)

Whatever you do make sure your quality score is at least 7/10 cause qs is what makes your ad rank and determines the actual cpc

That’s not enough budget, your max bid is $13 and at that budget you won’t even qualify for most auctions and I suspect google will eventually stop delivery shortly after the learning period, if it even delivers at all.
