[Google Ads] Lost Admin Access From Account
Posted by on June 30, 2020 at 6:09 pmThis is really embarrassing. I made a new ads account by mistake, it was then linked to a merchant center account. The ads account made by mistake was suspended because I had another ads account with the same billing info etc.
I canceled the ads account that I made by mistake and then removed myself as an admin (shouldn’t have done this). Upon trying to get the merchant center account setup, it is now suspended and I keep getting told that there was another Google Ads account linked to this Merchant Center that is currently suspended, which this is most likely the ads account that I setup by mistake.
I am just trying to get this merchant center setup and reinstated and keep running into dead ends.
Is there anyway that I can somehow regain access to the ads account setup by mistake?

Sounds like you just need to unlink your Merchant Center account with the suspended Google Ads account then link it with the active account.
To regain access you’ll need to open a Google Ads support ticket. It shouldn’t be a problem since you have access to the billing info.
