Google Ads “AI Advisor Chat” tool making the UI unbearably slow – any way to turn it off?
Posted by on November 28, 2025 at 12:27 amHave searched and can't find any info on this, but this stupid & clunky "AI Ads Advisor" tool on the right column they've added slows down the UI of Google Ads for me so much it's beyond irritating, even on a powerful computer with tons of RAM.
Is there any way to turn this garbage off permanently? As even when I select "close chat" every time I open up a new window it reappears again…
I assume not due to it just being another example of enshittification of the product, but thought I'd see if it's annoying the hell out of anyone else as well.
