Google ad problem

I made a campaign on ads in youtube on one of my videos and put a monthly budget at $25. Though now it says I spent $60.17.I obviously stopped the campaign, but I’m a little lost.
Right now do I really have to pay $60? If so then what is it with the monthly budget? I thought it wouldn’t get over that budget no matter what, dumb to say that but nonetheless I might need some helping from you guys.

This happened to me recently too. Here’s how you can see how much you are actually charged:
Go to Reports > Predefined Reports > Other > Billed Cost
There you can see Served Cost vs Billed Cost

In my case, my budget was $100/day but the first day it costed $400. But looking at the billed cost report i could see that even though my ads were “served” for $400, the “billed cost” was only $120 (it’s normal for google to overspend a bit on the first day)
