Good morning
Posted by Honest_Swan_5582 on August 25, 2025 at 8:30 amGood morning everyone, Ive created new google account copped all campaigns from the old one and right now it runs already for 4 days, barely getting impressions, where is on the old one a day been getting arround 200 and 10 clicks. Using manual cpc, clicks high, all the setup looks same, but not getting impressions and clicks, what it could be? Thank you.

GuestAugust 25, 2025 at 8:59 amNew accounts sometimes get throttled by Google who will tell you your campaigns are in “learning” mode and will be fine. You should start to see it ramp up in about a week to 10-days if that’s what’s happening.
But I would spend some time verifying everything is approved and you didn’t make any mistakes in the setup.

GuestAugust 25, 2025 at 9:01 amnew accounts have low trust and no history, which impacts ad delivery. Even with the same setup, new accounts take time to ramp up.

GuestAugust 25, 2025 at 9:55 amSounds like there’s some configuration error somewhere. Especially on manual CPC you shouldn’t run into any stalling issues like that as there’s no underlying ML learning.
You can try setting a few bids to $0.01 and comparing the too low bid message that pops up on the keyword level against your prior bid and see if you maybe actually were underbidding.

GuestAugust 25, 2025 at 2:41 pmI’ve had the same when launching new accounts recently. Switch bidding strategy to Max clicks with no max bid and let it run. Once you start getting traffic then you can switch it back.

GuestAugust 25, 2025 at 2:53 pmIf you have set a competitive enough daily budget & CPC bid, your campaign is very likely to run into any issues.
Make make sure you don’t have any negative bid adjustments in any of the locations, audiences & devices etc.
Other than that, give your campaign enough time to breath.
It takes about a week to begin seeing clicks & impressions coming in steadily & 15 days to notice any decent results
Keep the patience & then follow the data

GuestAugust 25, 2025 at 2:57 pmI’ve come across this issue before. Try switching your bidding strategy to Max clicks with no max bid and let it run. Once you start getting traffic, then you can switch it back to Manual CPC if you like.
Manual CPC still has it’s place but it’s not the same as it used to be a few years ago.

GuestAugust 25, 2025 at 8:33 pmthe new account is basically in limited learning / low trust mode.
Even if you copied everything over, Google treats it as a fresh account with no history, so you’ll see low impressions until it builds performance data.
Double-check billing is active, conversion tracking is firing, and ad approvals are clean, then give it a week

GuestAugust 25, 2025 at 8:37 pmA new account has no history or trust, so even with the same setup Google throttles delivery, expect low impressions until you build spend and performance data.

GuestAugust 25, 2025 at 8:39 pmIf this is the same campaigns and set up – is it the same market or a different market with different CPCs to go along with it? In PPC you can’t copy and paste strategies across industries as there are many variables at play.
