Good ads – advise on New Domain for client
Posted by on February 13, 2021 at 10:16 pmI have a Google Ads MCC acc and recently linked a clients Google Ads acc to my MCC acc.
His current website is of very poor quality on which he runs google ads on. If I register a new domain and build good quality landing pages, can I create a new campaign under his acc and run the ads to the new domain? So below is the structure:
Campaign 1: Same Keyword – Old Domain
Campaign 2: Same Keyword – New DomainI understand both the ads won’t show at the same time. But is the above allowed or is it violating Google Ads Policy..?

How do you mean both ads wouldn’t run in the same time?
If you plan to run both campaigns simultaneously, they might and you’ll be competing with yourself, raising the price
You shouldn’t run both campaigns at the same time, if you want to test which landing page performs better, create an experiment
But overall, to answer your question, I don’t think there would be a problem having ads for different domains
I did that without issues, but I wasn’t bidding on the same keywords (which you don’t want to do anyway as explained above)
