G-Ads, Malicious or Unwanted Software
Posted by on February 15, 2021 at 9:10 amHi Fellows, Recently I created an ad for one of my clients and after review, it says the Ad has malicious or unwanted software. Also, before I did that, one of their ads was running successfully & which also got the same issue.
Any help would be appreciated deeply. -

Sounds like the actual site is compromised. Guessing the site is running on something open source that’s had a vulnerability. Best bet is to roll back to a clean backup and then update the software or you may spend much more time trying to find the malicious files/scripts.

Getting Some ad links injected through one of the plugins. Looking to rectify and clean the issue.
Will update the post once done. -
My guess is some JavaScript code with a major vulnerability, such as the commonly used Axios package.
