Fuck Google!
Posted by Aggravating_Fault_22 on August 20, 2024 at 4:54 pmI mean, EEAT is a big fake! I survived every update, got very big strong natural backlinks recently and now google FUCKS my whole traffic! I diversified:
- 2k daily clicks from Google
- 300-400 daily clicks from Pinterest
- big email list (luckily)
I mean. These non-transparent, nothing-saying updates are just a big BS to push big sites, to do more profit. FUCK Google!! Like any other „too big“ company who fucks up us lil ppl.
I just want a good life, nothing big, just a lil bit of travel, no employee life. but now its over.
Thanks for reading.

GuestAugust 20, 2024 at 5:02 pmThe average cpl for b2b google leads is $250 and the average lead-to-opportunity conversion is 2%. It’s a scam.

GuestAugust 20, 2024 at 5:12 pmI freelance for two plumbing/sewer drain contractors. They had lots of calls and service requests until about 8 mos ago. Odd thing is that they rank well. Other companies I work with like landscapers and auto repair shops are doing well. Any thoughts? I don’t want to do SEO unless I can’t satisfy customers. These businesses can’t afford to pay for the amount of time it would “possibly” take to bring more business. I think it’s increasing competition and Google’s greed placing too many sponsored ads.

GuestAugust 20, 2024 at 5:27 pmI’m down 35% on my site this week after climbing 10% 2 weeks ago. I thought things turned around for me and was looking forward to a steady climb, but nope, I’m again looking at destitution.

GuestAugust 20, 2024 at 5:52 pmSorry to hear that man. I really believed then this time when they said they wanna fix the mistakes they’ve done. Turns out they have no interest whatsoever in doing that

GuestAugust 20, 2024 at 6:45 pmI did read an article that says Google found a bug in the current core update which they’ve since resolved, but it will take a few days (or up to a month?) before that works its way through the system. Could be related…

GuestAugust 20, 2024 at 10:32 pmThey have been vague about these updates always, helpful content classifier, what the hell is that can anyone explain it? No? What type of content does it target? If the classifier is baked in the core update is it running 24/7? Or just once the core update rolls out? What changes do they want us to make? I literally started from scratch in april, no backlinks focused entirely on content, and still this core update got to me, i am down 45% now and the trend is downward.

I’d argue the opposite. If they told everyone exactly what to do and how to do it – the one with the most money wins.

GuestAugust 20, 2024 at 11:14 pmSame. One of my sites lost 50% initially, but keeps going down. To add insult to injury, literally every post that slipped in ranking lost out to Reddit or TripAdvisor.
