    For smart shopping campaigns, do you branch out your product groups?

    I know smart shopping campaigns are very automated, no control with keywords, bids, and even ad groups. Do you guys still branch out your product groups? if so, why?

    If you sell tons of 3rd party brands or different categories,… worth seeing performance by either option. All comes down to what your shopping strategy is.

    Yes, we do so that you can monitor performance. This allows you to pause/move any products that don’t perform well.

    Note you can always look at the individual products view but that workflow isn’t very good because you can’t change bids there.

    Yes, We do this for better categorization and easy monitoring. if you are selling too many products so you should branch your product grouping because it very much helps to Google to identify if the products in a given feed are a good match for a given shopper query.
