Fiverr for SEO Services
Posted by seohelper on July 22, 2020 at 11:07 amIs this a good or bad idea? As far as I can tell if your shop doesn’t have a contact form there is no repercussions from this sort of thing, right?
There’s one person on Fiverr called Sikha55 who promises 1 million backlinks and seemingly a popular guy called ozzieuk too.
Do these things actually give positive results for high ranks in Google? I’m literally an SEO noob so please be nice. Thank you.
If anybody has a useful noob guide for SEOs for shops I’d be really grateful.
Thanks Reddit.

No. Fiverr is garbage. Buyer beware.

BUT you will kiss dozens of frogs before you find your Prince.
If someone offered you a million of something for $5 what does that make you think? ?
Good value? 🙂

What does a contact form have to do with anything?

>Do these things actually give positive results for high ranks in Google? Here is one of the big problems with evaluating services like SEO on Fiverr. Their review system requires immediate reviews. That’s fine for something like getting a logo designed. They do the work, they deliver it, and you can give your review on how they did.
However, for something like SEO, it could be weeks or even a few months until you really see the impact of the work, good or bad, but you have to leave a review right away. All you can really evaluate is if they did what they said they were going to do or not.
You can’t come back 3 months later and say your rankings tanked (or even if they improved).
It’s basically impossible to do any kind of quality SEO work for $5.

GuestJuly 22, 2020 at 1:38 pmLike most things in life. You get what you pay for. If these guys are competent SEO experts they wouldn’t be selling their services for $5~.
If they’re offering 1 mill BLs they’re most likely going to be GSA links. That’s the best way to get a googs ban.

GuestJuly 22, 2020 at 2:46 pmFiverr can for instance be great for getting reports from premium SEO tools at a low price. I once got automatically generated audits from several tools for a fiver. Super deal, if you ask me.

No?
Then stay away from Fiverr.

GuestJuly 22, 2020 at 4:05 pmNever get any SEO services from Fiverr, is not about how many backlinks, is about the quality.
A strong domain authority website that links to you is better than a thousand website linking to you. In fact, getting links from services like this will normally get a penalty from Google. You may check your search console and that is the last thing you want from them. You might end up manually disavowing them which is a waste of your money

GuestJuly 22, 2020 at 5:20 pm1 million links likely means 98% of those will never get indexed, or be quickly de-indexed right away. Those shotgun methods never work. That said…
Fiverr has a handful of diamonds in the rough. You’ve heard of needles in haystacks, right? Well, they’re there for the taking. And keep in mind which gig is okay for a straight shot to the client website, and which needs to be for Tier 2 linking.
Honestly, Fiverr is just full of SEOs trying to hustle and earn. Some legit. Some scabs. No different from this sub, except many in this sub charge a lot more.
