Feeling lost at 28 – How do I start a career in social media marketing?

I’ve always been a creative person, but lately I’ve been confused about where my career is heading. I’ve been hearing a lot about social media marketing and it sounds like something I’d really enjoy but I don’t know how to begin.
There’s so much advice online that it gets overwhelming. Should I start with free courses, try freelancing, or look for an internship first?
If you’re already working in social media marketing, how did you get started?
Any simple tips for someone like me who’s just trying to find her way? -

I don’t know, I am in the same boat tryign to figure out how to make money with social media. I am not an expert and never made a dollar. I posted motorcycle videos on instagram, pulled in a good streak and got over 12 million views, but no dollars. So I’m trying to switch over, I wouldn’t fall into the trap of just getting views and thinking the money will come in, there are monetization but its hard to pull in a good amount of views consistently. I like watching Nick Saraev (he has a ai automation agency) but still has good tactics for getting clients which has been helping me.
