FB pixel lookalike 1% frozen in time?

Posted by seohelper on July 1, 2020 at 8:18 pm

Hi folks. I own a small bike safety brand and I’ve been running about $5-6k / month though our Facebook account for a few months. Video ads.

Breaking even – so I felt comfortable for the first time keeping things running and refining.

Last week I created a look-alike audience from the conversions resulting from the past 60 days of action on our pixel. This is different than simply uploading a email list from say mail chimp. Because it seems that Facebook Figures in customer value e.g. who is likely to spend more per order…

And things are going gangbusters! It’s really performing incredibly like 4+ ROAS

    I am stoked.

So here’s the question. Assuming this performance sustains – can anyone tell me about whether this audience of 2 million people is frozen in time? Or does Facebook update the look alike as more data rolls in?

    Any best practices here?

Should I make another audience in a month or two when this one gets saturated in order to create an even more valuable look alike? Thanks in advance for the help.

    It’s a rolling audience.

It’s meant to be dynamic. But we’ve had renewed results by deleting the custom audience and remaking all the LAA’s.

Next steps try a 2% pixel if your ROAS drops, otherwise keep kicking ass!

Maybe also get retargeting ads for those who don’t convert if you don’t have it already or incentivize and email signup/follow up with discount.
