FB $2400 monthly spend – Can’t leave from learning phase despite ads doing very well

[My account overview in the last 14 days](https://i.gyazo.com/956ea6f4b2977495d01db92734ddb916.png)

74% of my ads are in learning phase, and a big chunk of that is learning limited. Performance wise, they’ve been doing alright, and the last 2 days they did really well:

    [$16.83 got me $403.36 in sales](https://i.gyazo.com/0091dbac7345135bede05c031a64eaa8.png)

This particular campaign is set to optimize for conversions based on the Purchase event. I’m trying get it out of the “Learning Limited” mode, so I duplicated it and set it to optimize for conversions based on the AddToCart event. $98 spent so far, and it only got 4 sales.

So in the end, the Learning Limited Purchase campaign is getting way more sales than the Active AddToCart campaign. I still want to get it off of the learning limited mode.

I see people recommending either change the conversion optimization to AddToCart, or to increase the campaign budget.. I’m hesitant because I can’t increase its budget without decreasing the budget from other campaigns (can’t go over my monthly ad spend).

I’ll be happy to hear you guys’ thoughts on it.

If it’s working, why touch it? Stop overthinking it

I’m sorry I can’t help you here. If you have a moment, I’d love to know what this “Learning Limited Phase” even is!

The fastest way out of the learning phase is to spend money across fewer campaigns. Your budget is spread to thin. Also, FB admits that even if you hit 50 purchases in a 7 day cycle, that does mean you will leave the learning phase. You should have 2 maybe 3 campaigns at most with your $2,400 budget/month. Stop spreading your budget to thin.

You have 3 options. If you care about the learning phase, see 1 and 2. If you don’t, see 3.

    1. Consolidate ad sets and audiences as much as possible to accumulate learnings faster. Each ad set needs 50 conversions in 7 days to exit learning.

    2. If your budget and audiences are spread thin, even necessarily, you’ll simply be stuck unless you can spend more to scale up to the minimum conversion count. If you want to keep structure as is due to unique content, you must scale spend.

    3. If your results are good enough, you’re pulling profit, and you have no desire to scale spend up, ignore the learning phase. It obviously isn’t impacting your performance at your current scale, so why concern yourself with it?

My final piece of overarching advice is to be sure that every change you’re going to make will make a positive impact or is necessary before doing it. Changes to anything in the campaigns will result in a reset as well, setting you back in learning.
