Fast casual restaurant SEO help

I opened up a restaurant less than a year ago and we are finally at the point where we have some time to begin our SEO journey. This is the first time I have ever dabbled in SEO, so do not know too much about it. Does anyone have any suggestions or help to try and start my SEO journey?

The first step is claiming and fully setting up your Google Business Profile with photos, menu, hours, and reviews. That alone can make a big difference for “near me” searches.
Make sure your website loads quickly and works well on mobile since most people will check you out from their phone. It also helps to work your city or neighborhood into page titles and descriptions so Google knows where you are. On top of that, keep your name, address, and phone number consistent across Yelp, TripAdvisor, and other directories.
Once the basics are in place, you can start layering in content like recipes, event updates, or stories about your food and ingredients. That kind of content gives people a reason to link back to you and helps your restaurant stand out.

– Your address
– Your hours
– Your phone numberI know this isn’t SEO related. And, yes, Google shows this info if I have searched for you specifically. But, if I’m on your site looking at the menu, make it easy for me to become a customer. Make your designer put these details at the top of your mobile page.

Just focus on Google my business profile, add menu, images, description, highlights, getting good reviews…
Nobody is searching for a restaurant website on Google, even if they do, Google will immediately push Google maps results to the top, or authoritative sites like TripAdvisor, etc… and you won’t be able to compete with those.
For the reference my cousin is running a great restaurant in the mountain village and they depend heavily on online presence, I was working with them on their website but from the data I’ve seen, the website won’t bring you any business unless you are a Michelin star chef. We manage to drive them a ton of business from different profiles starting from GMB, TripAdvisor, etc… and they are fully booked most of the time even if they are so remote.
