  • Facing an issue with the price range option on my Facebook Page!

Posted by seohelper on January 26, 2021 at 8:03 am

I need help because the section that shows the Price range on my Facebook page is showing the currency in Euros on some pages while Dollars on others.

I want it to show in Dollars but for some reason, when someone views the page without logging in, it shows the currency in Euros. Is there any fix available for this problem? If Yes, it would be great if you can help me with it.

I believe that the currency is tied to your device’s country/language. When selecting a input language on your phone for example, you’re given the option of English (United Kingdom) or English (United States), choosing the UK shows the pound symbol, choosing the US shows the dollar symbol. For desktop, I think it uses the keyboard layout to determine what currency symbol to use. Sadly, I am not seeing a manually override this.

I’ve had this issue for years. I believe that if you site shows multiple currency, then FB doesn’t know how to differentiate and just pulls based on content IDs or something. My old company had example dot com/us or dot com/eu, etc., I never got to trying it, but I figured a way around would be to have the website attached to the channel as the key country code. That way it wasnt looking in the main dot com, but at the dot com/us, in which only shows once currency. Not sure if this is useful, but even after speaking to FB about it, it seemed like an ongoing issue.
