Facebook Commerce Manager Set-Up Process: Anyone Have Experience With This?
Posted by on October 10, 2020 at 4:25 amHave a catalogue set-up with Shopify but it’s running a lot of errors so I recently created a new manual catalogue that I want to sync my business’s Instagram account to. Looks like this can be done through Facebook’s new Commerce Manager.
Does anyone have experience setting this up and does anyone recommend using a manual or Shopify feed? I’ve personally had a lot of issues with Shopify catalogues on Facebook but curious what other people have experienced.

Shopify catalogues with fb ads is pretty streamlined, not sure why you’d be facing errors. Last I checked, your catalog needs to be clean and error free to run on IG, it’s handled in the same platform.
Make sure your Shopify / Facebook PAGE (not just ads) integration is set as proper permissions- admin access. In business settings, assigned assets. I’ve seen connectivity issues before because of that.
