Facebook Bug Linking Instagram Business Account to Page?
Posted by on February 25, 2021 at 10:43 amI’m trying to link the new Instagram business account to our Facebook page.
It seems to be linked but I can’t confirm the connection. Does anyone else experience that bug?
I’ve tried all of the ideas to fix it I could find: password change, logout, trying from the facebook settings or Instagram app, changing from business account to personal back and forth. Nothing works. Even let it do the other admins of the page, but they got the same error.
I’ve reported the problem both on IG and FB. Do they even answer these reports?

I have had the same exact issue! I thought it was just me. Perhaps there is a bug. Wish I could help. (I literally came to Reddit just now hoping to find a post that would tell me how to fix the issue.)

Hi, I just came into Reddit to find the answer to the same thing. It must be a bug. It will not let me confirm the connection even though I am the admin to the pages !!!

Okay, I’m glad to hear that’s an issue for others too. So they will probably fix it soon.
