Facebook ads manager metrics are broken?
Posted by on October 10, 2020 at 1:52 amI have ads running on facebook to get sales on my shopify store. I have been running my ads for about 2 weeks now and I am getting this weird error where the ads manager says I got a purchase, but on shopify I didn’t receive any order. So far facebook says I got 5 sales but on shopify I’ve only got 2 sales which I already fulfilled.
I set up my pixel correctly and I’m really concerned because now I don’t know how skewed the data I am getting is. Does anyone know whats going on?

I’m also dealing with the issue and luckily spend enough to have real support with both. This has been escalated on Shopify’s end to their technical team. Facebook is absolutely adamant it isn’t their fault and I believe them because their explanation of that they simply process the events they receive makes sense and they verified that it wasn’t them on a few accounts for me. Hopefully Shopify fixes this quick.
