    Facebook Ads Analytics vs. Google Analytics

    How do you usually determine the success of a Facebook campaign? Facebook tends to give far more credit to the Facebook ad than Google Analytics since the attribution model is viewthrough or click thru vs. the last touch attribution from Google. Do you use a mix of both or just one or the other for source of truth?

    I wouldn’t recommend to measure FB traffic in Analytics at all. Problem #1: for reasons Analytics split facebooks/insta traffic to multiple sources. Problem #2: as you mentioned different approach to track conversions. Problem #3: what is happening to iOS 14 now

    I use custom solution to aggregate data from all sources in a single Data Studio report with custom attribution
