    Experienced paid media marketer looking to level up (analytics, attribution, CRO)

    Hey folks,

    I’ve been working in paid media for a bit over 5 years now, mostly Google Ads and Meta, handling fairly large budgets across ecom and lead gen. I’m very comfortable with running and scaling campaigns, testing creatives, account structure, etc.

    At this point, I don’t really want beginner courses about “how to run ads.” I’m trying to level up into the next layer — analytics, attribution, measurement, and then more business-side skills like funnels, CRO, customer retention, LTV, that kind of stuff.

    I’m not looking for super expensive guru-style programs. More interested in reasonably priced courses, certifications, or even specific resources that actually helped you become a better marketer in practice.

    If you’ve taken something that genuinely improved how you think about data, attribution, or growth, I’d really appreciate any recommendations.

    Focus first on mastering tracking and attribution (GA4, GTM, server-side, offline conversions) so you truly know what’s working. Then level up on CRO and LTV so you’re optimizing for real business growth, not just cheaper clicks.

    The high level stuff is more about soft skills and mindset than raw knowledge.

    If you have 5 years experience managing fairly large budgets you should already know more than any course can teach you.

    Just be strategic, be skeptical, be curious, look stuff up, read, learn, and make up your own approach. Or look for mentoring.

    I’m in a similar place but from a design background.

    I’m been working on leveling up to become a specialist in landing pages and CRO for paid ads.

    There’s not really a clear path to it, but you can learn from a lot of sources. Content/books/courses/youtube videos. There’s also a lot of BS content that’s a waste of time.

    Unbounce and conversion rate experts usually have good content on CRO, there’s also experts like Sabri subi, Talia wolf, russel brunson. You can find useful articles on linkedin and X.

    It also helps to learn about building high value offers, value proposition, user psychology.

    I can recommend some of the better resources i’ve found, feel free to DM.

    Also, goes without saying, but learning by doing is undefeated. Especially in this space, when you can test changes on real world projects and see an actual uplift in conversions it teaches you more than any content.
