Have you used any engagement bots that would automatically comment on similar or selected accounts or hashtags in your niche's posts, helping to boost the engagement of the page?

im interested in this not as I want to do it but I need arguments for people that are asking if our social media api can view bot. Currently, this is my ol reliable stack of reasons for saying no

    a) that’s against TOS of social media platforms

    b) immoral

    c) I did not work hard to get approved by social media platforms just to throw it away

Most platforms explicitly forbid automated engagement that pretends to be a real person. Those “growth” bots that leave generic comments are against the TOS of Twitter, Instagram, etc., and they tend to annoy the very people you’re trying to reach.

Instead, focus on scalable but ethical tactics:

    – Use scheduling tools (Buffer, Later, Metricool) to plan and queue up posts so you’re consistently active without being glued to your phone.

    – Spend a few minutes each day engaging personally with your audience: respond to comments, answer questions, and contribute to relevant conversations in your niche.

    – Run polls or ask open questions in your captions to encourage real interaction.

Authentic engagement takes more effort, but it’s far more sustainable than getting your account flagged for spammy bot activity. “Buy”ing likes or comments might give a temporary spike, but it won’t build a community that actually cares about your content.
