Duplicate but not really duplicate content
I’ve got a client that has a large website offering various tech and IT services. They’ve got a number of pages that aren’t duplicate in their text or layout but duplicate in their purpose.
For example, they have “City Name: Web Design” and a separate page for “Web Design Services” both of which have the same CTA.
Since they are wanting to expand their national footprint, my idea was to remove the city-specific services pages they have as I feel like these pages are kind of cannibalizing each other.
Is this a solid route to take?
