Does page rank pass internally if I use /shop/productname without the actual domain name and related stuff?
Posted by on May 31, 2020 at 5:06 pmI am currently internally linking my website by dropping off htttps and domain name and am just giving the path in all my internal links. Will it be crawled by google bots and will link equity be distributed or will it not?

You are doing it right. Google “relative link”.

You can do it either way, doesn’t make a difference

It doesn’t pass PageRank but it does help Google better understand the pages on your site.
