Does Hootsuite really not let you first comment on Instagram?

I searched Google and it seems like everyone just skirts around answering it…

I was thinking of signing up to hootsuite. Do you have a preferred alternative?

I noticed a major decrease in reach when I did hashtags in the first comment. Anyone else have that problem?

I would not suggest Hootsuite if you’re planning to use it with Instagram.
We have 3 IG accounts and only one is working properly.
Imagine my frustration after scheduling 300+ posts on each… We have to publish the manually now.
They don’t know how to fix the errors, my accounts are properly connected,…
Not to mention that Pinterest stopped working, they were not able to fix that so I had to start paying for Tailwind.
And of course, Hootsuite is not doing refunds.
So stay away.

I wouldn’t recommend Hootsuite. The only reason I stay is because I’ve been grandfathered in and can’t afford the comparatively exorbitant prices of other SMM tools.
Hootsuite are slow or unwilling to implement any helpful tools that other tools have. The interface is clunky and hard work. -
Buffer and Later are two similar tools that let you add a 1st comment on Instagram. Hootsuite is one of many tools that doesn’t allow that feature.
