I’ve been blogging for 2.5 years now. I always use tools like ubersuggest, semrush to find new keywords and write blog post for it.

Recently, i revamped one of the old blogs based on the google search console impression/clicks. it got lot of impression but only fewer clicks. After improving it, traffic spiked up for that specific blog.

I wanted to know how often do you guys revamp the old blog articles?. How do you guys use search console to find which blog to revamp?. (i find search console difficult to use) Any better tool available to visualize google search console data?

No, always write blog content on keywords research and mention the new keywords getting higher ranking. Always write new and fresh content to get the engagement.

I sometimes scroll back to old content to make sure the keywords are still relevant, but I prefer writing fresh content. Being consistent in writing will bring you more and more traffic. Analyze your metrics, find the most popular topics and write more about them. I use GSC to identify the queries and then make a decision on what to write next.
