I was researching Kajabi’s scheduling functionality and this page came up high in rankings, yet doesn’t have a section on the Kajabi scheduler. I Command+F searched “scheduler” and found a bunch of hidden text (white colored font).

The website is “Rich Data Summit” and article title is “Kajabi Scheduler.” I’d include the link but I keep getting booted by moderators.

Is this an example of shady SEO tactics? I have never consciously found one and I must say, I’m appalled, haha.

EDIT: Oh my goodness, it’s worse than I thought! They have used identical content across queries with hidden text. “Kajabi Scheduler” and “Is Kajabi a CRM” yield identical content with hidden queries. CALL THE SEO POLICE!! 🙂

Yeah, that’s a shitty low level blackhat tactic that nobody uses and G penalizes you for that. It used to work a decade and a half ago.

Looking at the source code, it is definitely intentional. Surprised Google didn’t pick up on that. They are usually pretty good at that.
