Deleted old embarrassing tweet, now what? Any service that can further help?
Posted by on February 28, 2021 at 12:54 pmHi all, I’ve already deleted the tweet but am still wondering if there is anything else I can do to more thoroughly get rid of it? Like possibly have it deleted from third party archived sites that may have it etc? I don’t really know too much about this except random googling. Is there a recommended social media clean up service I could get a consult with?

Depends on where you’re living, some places (like the EU) have a right to be forgotten and you could leverage that to get aggregate sites to remove it.
First thing you need to do is search the tweet on Google, Bing and DuckDuckGO with quotation marks so it searches the phrase
ex: “I think this internet thing is just a phase”
Then you can identify where the tweet is archived and go from there.
